Sde-bar farm is a home and family for young boys. The farm is located near Nokdim at the foot of Herodion. On the Sde-bar farm the young boys and graduates work in agriculture. Sde-Bar is known for the special connection between the boys and the farm, even after graduating from school and army service. The boys study in the local school which is situated in the farm, and work towards receiving their matriculation certificate.

Breeding goats for milk, olive orchards and training horses for horseback riding, are some of the branches that operate on the farm. With the goats milk Sde-Bar opened a milk products production plant that produces cheeses, yoghurts and Dulce de Leche.

Another important branch that operates on the farm is the manufacture of organic olive oil. Olive trees were planted on tens of dunams all around the farm, at the end of the olive harvest, the olives are sent to an olive press and they produce olive oil. Lately, Sde-bar has initiated a new project, the utilization of the waste products resulting from the manufacture of olive oil, to be used for burning and heating. In addition, the youngsters have opened a welding workshop that carries out all the welding the farm requires.

The farm is a home and family for the young boys that live there. As the boys reach the age of 18, the legal age to be considered adults and therefore responsible for themselves, most of the boys don't leave the farm, but instead they decide to stay on in order to develop themselves and to assist in developing Sde-Bar.
